Sadly, Atkinson, 69, also crashed another of his supercars, an Aston Martin V8 Zagato, at the Croft Circuit in Yorkshire in 2001. After paying £220,000 to rebuild it, the supercar was later sold for £122,500 at auction.

The total value of his car collection would purchase three Gulfstream G650 private jets, 15 Caribbean islands and a 21-bedroom mansion in London’s well-to-do Mayfair district.
